Get rid of unattractive scars with the help of laser treatment!
Scars from injuries or operations, acne scars and stretch marks (striae) from pregnancy can tarnish one’s aesthetic image. A professional treatment may significantly reduce the visibility of such skin alterations.
Which treatment method is used depends on the state of the respective scar.
With the medico-aesthetic laser therapy, energetic impulses that penetrate to the deeper skin layers are used. There, they stimulate the formation of endogenous collagen, the main ingredient of the so-called connective tissue. In this manner, the skin regenerates and becomes visibly tighter and smoother. The scars become suppler and less visible.
If a scar has caved in, as can for example be the case with acne scars, Hyaluron filler is often used additionally to the laser therapy as a means of upholstering.
If on the other hand, we are in the presence of proliferating scars (keloids), fractioned radiofrequency therapy with micro-needling (Infini®) promises a significant improvement.
With this single or combined treatments, we usually reach a beautiful result after 3 to 6 sessions. However, a scar can never be completely removed.
